A week at Kimball Union Academy

Kimball Union Academy is a co-educational prepatory school located in Meriden, New Hampshire. KUA features state-of-the-art turf and practice fields, an indoor field facility, fully equipped dining hall, dormitories, student center, gymnasium and auditorium for camp gatherings and films.

Kimball Union Academy  Facilities

Athletic Fields

Kimball Union provides four excellently

maintained grass fields and one outdoor turf field. There is ample room for every coach to have his/her own space to run a technical session, including an area specifically for the goalkeeper group to use.

The Barn

The Barn is one of the premier indoor playing surfaces in Northern New England. Field dimensions are 80 x 50 yards, surrounded by wall-to-wall protective netting. Coaches and players are able to get away from the scotching sun and play afternoon technical games indoors.

Dormitories

Campers are housed in KUA dormitories, grouped by age on each floor. Roommate requests can be accommodated if requests are reciprocal (both campers make request) and done well in advance of camp commencement. Girls have their own dormitory with female counselors.

Doe Dining Hall

The Dining Commons options are all-encompassing and include a fruit and salad bar, sandwich bar, soup station, and the popular wok bar, in addition to drink and dessert options. The Dining Commons staff easily accommodates all food allergies and dietary restrictions, and is available for nutritional guidance.

Student Center

During rest breaks and before and after meals, campers make use of the Student Center, adjacent to the Dining Commons, for fun and games and getting to know each other.

Hayes Auditorium

We use the newly renovated Hayes Auditorium to watch live soccer games (World Cup, Euros, Confederations Cup) for rest in the evenings, for our Annual Dance/Talent show and for College Talks, where campers learn from senior and junior coaches about the college recruiting process as well as playing at the top level.
